Description
32-bit applications can read, inspect, and control audio or data CDs through a common library. This is useful for media players, rippers, catalog tools, and legacy software that still works with optical discs.
It does not add a separate disc app by itself. The visible result appears inside programs that use it, and hardware access depends on the CD/DVD drive and system permissions.
