32-bit GStreamer applications can use additional experimental or less-common multimedia plugin libraries. These components may unlock formats, filters, or device paths that are not covered by the core and base sets.
The “bad” set means API quality, maintenance, licensing, or coverage may be less mature than core plugins. Test affected media workflows before relying on them.
