LDAP directory entries can be browsed from a terminal interface. It is useful for administrators working over SSH or on servers where a graphical LDAP client is not available.
Directory browsing can expose user, group, and organization data. Protect bind credentials and avoid displaying sensitive entries in shared terminals or logs.
