Description
Address-book contacts can be managed from the command line using CardDAV servers or local vCard directories. It is useful for users who sync contacts with tools such as vdirsyncer and want terminal access to lookup or edit entries.
Contact data is personal information. Protect synced directories, review server credentials, and avoid exposing names, phone numbers, or email addresses in logs and shell history.
