One keyboard and mouse can control multiple computers over a local network. It is useful for desks with several machines where hardware KVM switches would be inconvenient.
Input sharing sends keyboard and mouse events across the LAN. Use only on trusted networks and secure pairing so another device cannot capture or inject input.
