Description
Node-level troubleshooting becomes possible through kubectl when direct SSH access is unavailable or undesirable. It helps administrators inspect a cluster node from the same access path used for other cluster operations.
Shell access to nodes is highly privileged. Use only on clusters you administer, confirm the target node, and avoid changing host files unless the maintenance action is planned.
