Description
Kernel TLS consumers get userspace helpers for negotiating TLS handshakes with services such as NFSv4 and NVMe over Fabrics. It is useful for administrators enabling encrypted transport in storage or file-service paths handled partly by the kernel.
This is low-level security and networking infrastructure. Wrong certificate or service configuration can break access or weaken the protection expected from TLS.
