Older applications can take advantage of Kernel Same-page Merging through support code preloaded into the process. It is mainly useful for advanced users trying to reduce duplicate memory use in specific legacy workloads.
This is not a normal program to open. Preload libraries change how another process starts, so test carefully before using them with important applications or production services.
