Terminfo data tells command-line programs how the kitty terminal understands colors, keys, cursor movement, and other terminal capabilities.
It is support data, not an application to launch. Keeping it installed helps remote shells, text editors, multiplexers, and terminal programs behave correctly when the terminal type is set to kitty.
