Description
A general-purpose memory allocator designed for scalable concurrent workloads. Applications can use it instead of the default allocator to improve performance or memory behavior in some server and desktop scenarios.
It is a runtime library, not a program to open. Use it directly only when an application or administrator intentionally configures that software to load jemalloc.
