Epson DS, EP, ES, ET, EW, L, LX, PX, WF, XP, FF-640, GT-S650, Perfection V19, and Perfection V39 scanners can work with EPSON Image Scan! through the matching model plugin.
It is useful only when that scanner family is connected and the base Image Scan! software is installed. Scanner plugins enable device communication; normal scan privacy still depends on the documents placed on the scanner.
