Backlight PWM frequency settings can be applied automatically through udev rules on Intel HD Graphics systems.
It is useful when display flicker tuning should persist across boots or device events. Automatic hardware rules can be hard to diagnose if wrong, so keep a recovery path and document the selected frequency.
