Description
Older Intel integrated GPUs can run OpenCL workloads through a legacy driver. It helps compatible compute, image-processing, and scientific applications use GPU acceleration on pre-Broadwell hardware.
OpenCL support depends strongly on GPU generation, kernel, driver stack, and application requirements. If compute jobs fail or the desktop becomes unstable, test with another runtime or CPU backend.
