Description

Runs a daemon that brings network interfaces up or down when a cable is inserted or removed. It watches link state so wired network configuration can react automatically.

It is useful for lightweight systems, older network setups, and administrators who want simple cable-based interface management. Configuration should match the network stack in use to avoid fighting NetworkManager or other managers.
