Description
Composes wallpapers, also called root pixmaps, for the X Window System. It can set backgrounds using colors, gradients, images, and composition effects in lightweight X sessions.
It is useful for users of minimal window managers and X11 desktops without a full wallpaper manager. It is specific to X behavior and may not apply to Wayland sessions.
