Description

Known unwanted adware, spyware, hijacker, and tracking domains can be blocked by injecting the MVPS list into /etc/hosts. It helps users add a simple system-wide domain blocklist without a browser extension.

Editing /etc/hosts affects name resolution for the whole machine and can break sites if entries are wrong or outdated. Review backups and update behavior before applying it.
