Standalone development builds let musicians test newer synthesizer changes without loading a plugin host.
It is useful for patch design, MIDI testing, and quick sound experiments from the desktop. Since this follows the development branch, saved presets, audio behavior, and stability may change more often than in the stable standalone build.
