Network TV tuner devices in the HDHomeRun family can use firmware files installed in the expected firmware directory.
It is useful only for systems managing compatible HDHomeRun TV tuner devices. Firmware does not add a normal app by itself; device behavior also depends on model support, network discovery, tuner software, and regional broadcast settings.
