Description
ThinkPad HDAPS disk-protection status becomes visible through a standalone GTK applet. It helps users see whether shock-protection monitoring is active on compatible laptops.
The applet is informational and does not make storage failure impossible. Keep backups and verify kernel/driver support if the status looks wrong.
