Description
Runs an entropy harvesting daemon that uses CPU timing variations. Entropy daemons try to help the system maintain enough randomness for cryptography and other security-sensitive operations.
It is useful on systems where the normal kernel entropy sources may be insufficient or slow during early boot. Administrators should understand current kernel randomness behavior before enabling extra entropy services.
