Proxy backend health can be reported to HAProxy with a helper designed for Shadowsocks service monitoring.
It is useful for administrators who route traffic through Shadowsocks backends and need better availability decisions. Proxy health checks still require careful network policy, firewall rules, privacy expectations, and trusted backend configuration.
