Description

Home Assistant can receive local hardware status from a Linux machine through a background companion daemon.

It is useful for home-lab and smart-home users who want sensor-style information about a computer inside their automation dashboard. The daemon sends system data over the network, so review what is reported, where it is sent, and how credentials are stored.
