Description

Damaged gzip archives may yield recoverable data by skipping over corrupt sections instead of failing at the first error.

It is useful for administrators and advanced users trying to salvage logs, backups, or compressed files from damaged media. Recovery is not guaranteed, and output can be incomplete, so work on copies and verify recovered data before replacing anything important.

How to run

gzrecover

Commands: gzrecover
