Google Drive files can appear in compatible Linux file managers through the GIO virtual filesystem layer.
It is useful when cloud documents should be reachable from desktop applications without downloading everything manually first. Access depends on online accounts, network connectivity, Google permissions, and the limits of virtual file access compared with a fully synchronized local folder.
