Description

Legacy GRUB builds can avoid zstd support when strict size limits must be respected. This is useful for older boot environments where the bootloader image needs to stay below a small size threshold.

Bootloader size changes affect early startup. Administrators should only use this compatibility tweak for legacy setups that need it and should verify boot after applying GRUB changes.
