Description

UTF-8 manual pages can be displayed correctly in groff-based documentation workflows. It is useful when terminal documentation contains accented characters, non-English text, or symbols that older formatting paths do not handle well.

This is support for viewing formatted manuals, not a separate desktop application. Its value appears when man-page tools use it while rendering documentation.
