Push messages can be sent to a Gotify server from scripts or terminal commands. It is useful for notifications from backups, jobs, monitoring checks, or personal automation.
Notification messages may contain private status, hostnames, or tokens. Protect server URLs and application tokens, and avoid sending secrets in message bodies.
