Description
Legacy OpenPGP workflows can use an extended GnuPG 1 build with larger secure memory enabled. It is mainly for compatibility with older automation, environments, or policies that still depend on the original GnuPG code line.
Use it only when the legacy build is specifically needed. Cryptographic keys are sensitive, and old toolchains can have compatibility and maintenance tradeoffs compared with current GnuPG releases.
