Description
PKCS#11 tokens and smart cards can be used as cryptographic key providers for GnuPG. The daemon bridges GnuPG smart-card operations with hardware or software tokens that expose PKCS#11 interfaces.
It is security-sensitive background infrastructure. Configure token libraries, PIN handling, and access permissions carefully, because mistakes can block key use or expose signing operations to the wrong session.
