Description
Sends and receives raw network data from the terminal for testing, debugging, and simple network plumbing. It helps administrators inspect ports, create quick connections, or script basic TCP and UDP workflows.
Netcat can expose listeners, transfer data, or connect to remote services, so misuse can create security risks. Use it only on networks and systems you are allowed to test, and avoid leaving listeners open.
