Source files become easier to recognize in GNOME file views through generated code thumbnails. The thumbnailer creates visual previews for code files, helping developers and curious users distinguish files without opening each one.
It works in the background through the desktop thumbnail system and does not add a separate app. Very large or sensitive source files may be previewed visually, so consider thumbnail privacy on shared machines.
