Short notes can stay visible on the GNOME desktop as customizable sticky notes. It is useful for reminders, temporary thoughts and small task lists that should remain close to the current workspace.
Desktop notes may appear in screenshots or screen sharing. Avoid storing passwords, private names or sensitive work details in visible notes.
