Description

Hardware sensor readings appear in the GNOME Shell top bar for quick desktop monitoring. It helps users watch CPU, storage, GPU, voltage, and fan information without opening a separate monitoring app.

Sensor availability depends on hardware, drivers, and permissions. High temperatures or abnormal fan readings should be checked with proper diagnostics, because an indicator alone cannot prevent hardware damage.
