Description
Media files can be cast from GNOME Shell to Chromecast and other devices on the local network. It is useful for watching videos, music or photos on a larger screen without copying files manually.
Casting exposes selected media and device names on the local network. Use trusted networks and confirm the target receiver before sending private files.
