Description
Unread mail status can appear in GNOME Shell through the development version of the Bubblemail indicator. It is useful for testing newer provider support or fixes while keeping mail status visible.
Email integration is privacy-sensitive because account details and unread counts may appear on screen. Use trusted accounts and review notification settings.
