Description
Blurred images can be sharpened with FIR Wiener filtering inside GIMP. The plugin is useful when editors need a more technical refocus method than ordinary sharpening controls.
Refocus filters cannot recover missing detail perfectly and can introduce ringing or noise. Preserve originals and verify the result at the intended output size.
