Description
A command-line utility for detecting, reading, erasing, and writing flash chips such as BIOS or firmware chips. It is mainly used by technicians, board maintainers, and advanced users working with low-level hardware firmware.
Use it only when you know the exact chip, board, and image involved. Flashing the wrong data can make hardware fail to boot and may require external recovery equipment.
