Description

A fast self-hosting assembler for x86 assembly language. Developers use it to write and build low-level programs, boot code, experiments, or performance-sensitive routines for supported operating systems.

Use it when you intentionally work with assembly language. It is powerful but low level, so mistakes can produce programs that crash or behave unpredictably.
