Description

DisplayLink-style virtual display support can be provided through a Linux kernel module for managing multiple screens. It is used by systems that need extra monitors through supported USB or docking hardware.

Kernel modules affect the graphics stack at a low level. Compatibility depends on the running kernel, display server, driver stack, and hardware, so users should keep recovery access available when testing multi-monitor setups.
