Provides Erlang operating system monitoring support. Erlang applications can use it to inspect system-level information such as CPU, memory, disk, and operating environment signals.
Use it when an Erlang service needs visibility into the host it runs on. It supplies monitoring data to Erlang code and is not a full graphical system monitor by itself.
