Description

Local NoSQL development can run without connecting every test to AWS. It is useful for developers who need DynamoDB-compatible behavior while building or testing applications.

A local database may still contain realistic test data. Protect files, ports, and credentials, and do not treat local-only behavior as proof that production AWS settings are correct.
