Description
Terminal programs can keep running after the controlling terminal is detached. It is useful for remote sessions, long-running commands, and users who need a small alternative to screen or tmux detaching.
Detach tools do not manage full terminal multiplexing by themselves. Keep track of socket paths and avoid leaving sensitive interactive sessions unattended.
