Image backgrounds can be removed from inside GIMP using Replicate-hosted AI models. It is useful for designers and editors who want quick cutouts without leaving their image-editing workflow.
AI image plugins may upload images to an external service and require API credentials. Do not process confidential images unless the service policy and account settings are acceptable.
