Description

Public randomness can be produced and served by a distributed beacon daemon. It is useful for systems that need verifiable, unpredictable values from a network of drand nodes.

Randomness infrastructure is security-sensitive. Protect node keys, monitor peer behavior, and understand the trust model before using beacon output for lotteries, protocols, or production decisions.
