Description
Remote SSH access can be made available during initramfs startup before the normal system is mounted. It is useful for remote disk unlock, repair, and server recovery workflows.
SSH in early boot is powerful and risky. Protect host keys and credentials, restrict network exposure, and keep console or rescue access available if the initramfs network setup fails.
