Description
Runs the 2.3 branch of Dovecot, an IMAP and POP3 server for serving mailboxes to email clients. It is designed for secure mail access and can integrate with authentication, storage, and filtering systems.
Use it only when operating mail infrastructure. Email servers handle private communication, so TLS, authentication, permissions, backups, and updates must be configured carefully.
