A development snapshot of the Diaspora social-network server can be run with PostgreSQL as its database backend. It is useful for administrators or contributors testing a federated social pod on current development code.
This server can store personal profiles, posts, uploads, and federation data. Use staging, backups, TLS, and update planning before hosting real users.
