Description
Sends a DHCP request to check whether a DHCP server is reachable and responding. It helps administrators diagnose network boot, address assignment, and connectivity problems without waiting for a normal client lease flow.
Use it only on networks you are allowed to test. The result shows DHCP responsiveness, not complete network health or correctness of all configuration options.
