Description
Relays DHCP requests between network segments so clients can reach a DHCP server that is not on the same local broadcast network. It is useful in routed networks where one central server serves multiple subnets.
This is an administrator service. Relay interfaces and destination servers must be chosen carefully, because mistakes can prevent clients from receiving network configuration.
