Description
Tailscale nodes can relay traffic through a DERP server when direct peer-to-peer paths are not available. It is useful for administrators who want to run their own relay infrastructure.
This server handles network traffic for private tailnet connectivity. TLS, firewall rules, capacity, logging, and abuse controls should be planned before exposing it on the internet.
